DynPro starts new Green Practice, starting with Server Virtualization and VDI

Raleigh, N.C. — June 16th 2011 — DynPro has begun research to devolope a new service for its growing client base: virtualization. Many companies in today’s market are looking to lower their total cost of ownership (TCO) but still require large SAP datacenters. By offering virtualization to their growing list of client services, DynPro hopes to spread the word on Green Technology while also finding a cost-effective and efficient source of service for its clients.

If a company chooses to utilize Virtualization, DynPro’s team of SAP and VMware consultant will work to migrate the physical infrastructure to a virtual one. By using fewer physical servers to run multiple instance of SAP, less power and cooling requirements are put in play, reducing costs substantially.

By utilizing VMware technologies such as High Availability and Fault Tolerance, company applications are run without any downtime. Further, DynPro will work to provide backup solutions so that the virtual environment can be quickly restored in the event of a disaster.

Further services include infrastructure assessment, resource planning and datacenter design, physical to virtual migration, testing and quality assurance, and ongoing maintenance and support.
