| Participate in day-to-day operation and maintenance of data networking monitoring and management tools such as HP Network Node Manager. Cisco Works, Solar Winds Orion, and Netbotz Infrastructure Central. • Participate in oversight of both hardware and software items related to the monitoring function. • Implement and maintain network monitoring and management tools • Have familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux and Solaris • Design and modify scripts needed to execute various tools and command lines related to managing switches, routers and data network devices. • Participate in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as it relates to new data network | |
Qualifications: |

| • initiatives, projects or design specifications. • Design, modify and test systems and their prototypes • Assist other data network personnel and network engineers in troubleshooting performance • Develop and provide periodic reports to management regarding the performance of the data network. • Make recommendations for changes or upgrades as needed to maintain service level agreements. • Should have strong experience with HP Network Node Manager, Cisco Works and Cisco routers and switches as well as SNMP protocols • Desired experience in Solar Winds Orion, Fluke Optiview and Netbotz Infrastructure Central | |
